Ryan Volz - Registered Dietitian
Ryan Volz is our Registered Dietitian and Dr. Volz's wonderful husband. Ryan graduated from Life University in 2002 with a degree in Dietetics. He completed his one year internship at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri to become a REGISTERED Dietitian. Ryan's focus is on preventative care and teaching healthy and natural lifestyle/habit changes for the well being of the body. Ryan specializes in nutritional counseling and supplying quality supplements and vitamins to help people maintain their optimal health. Ryan also cares for people wtih diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and any or all other health challenges. Ryan also carries high quality vitamins and supplements including Juice Plus, a whole food supplement, a digestive & colon cleanse for the whole body, and has many other important supplements and vitamins.
Dr. Rachel Herman - Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Rachel Herman grew up in Machias, New York just south of Buffalo. After graduating high school, she did her undergraduate work at Villa Maria College in Buffalo. While completing her undergraduate education she worked part-time as a Chiropractic Assistant. She attended Life University of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia and graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri in 2004 with Dr. Volz. Between 2004 to 2006 Dr. Herman worked with Dr. Joseph F. Biasillo at Biasillo Chiropractic Center in West Seneca, New York. In November 2006, Dr. Herman moved to Holt, Michigan with her husband Corey, and has been working in our office since. Dr. Herman has one son, Alexander James, born gently at the Greenhouse Birth Center in Okemos, MI on October 29th, 2008.
Brenda Clark - Office Manager & CA
Brenda Clark is the Office Manager/Chiropractic Assistant in charge of the day to day running of the office, making sure it runs as efficiently as possible. She is a wonderful employee not to mention Dr. Volz's wonderful mom. Brenda and her husband, Jim, have owned & operated a packaging and shipping business in Okemos called PostNet since 1995. Brenda has two daughters and has been happily married for over 32 years.
Vickie Lehtonen - Chiropractic Assistant
I am a new employee and patient at Volz Family Chiropractic. I grew up in Lansing and now live in Okemos with my husband Mike and our two energetic children. Our daughter Julia is almost six and our son Jacob is three. We have been happily married for nine years and I was a stay at home mom for six years. Our children are our life! We enjoy watching them grow in many ways each day. I am excited to ease my way back into the working world as a part-time Chiropractic Assistant at Volz Family Chiropractic. I know that I am lucky to work with such a wonderful staff and patients while I am away from my family.
Jodi Robbins - Chiropractic Assistant
I am from the Lansing area. I am married and we have a wonderful daughter D'Cymber. I will be attending Lansing Community College to receive an Associates Degree in Medical Administration. I am happy to be working in a great family oriented place, while attending school to increase my skills. I am also excited to go through school with fewer headaches as the result of my Chiropractic care!!!
